Fred Schoen
President and Principal
|
Fred founded Fred Schoen Fiduciary Services in 1978. To date, Fred has
been appointed Guardian, Trustee and Personal Representative for
thousands of beneficiaries, establishing a proven track record of
problem-solving and success.
Fred began his career in as a trust officer in Seattle more than twenty
five years ago. He went to work as a trust officer for People's Bank
coordinating and recording documentation with attorneys for their
clients' estates. After working as a paralegal for Foster Pepper &
Shefelman PLLC, Fred worked on numerous cases in a variety of
capacities, including trust officer, paralegal and administrator.
A lifelong Seattle resident, Fred has been actively involved with the
Pride Foundation. He is also a member of the National Guardianship
Association, Washington State Guardianship Association and the Better
Business Bureau. Fred attended Washington State University and studied
finance. Fred enjoy stamp collecting, trips to Puerto Vallarta, all
things Harry Potter.

Kathleen Jones
Accounting Administrator
|
Kathleen serves as the lead accountant for Fred Schoen Fiduciary Services. Since
1983, she has offered a wide range of accounting services working closely with CPAs
and attorneys to provide the highest level of service for hundreds of clients of Fred
Schoen Fiduciary Services.
Kathleen began her professional career working first as a paralegal with McKisson,
Sargent & Oliason and later joined Fred Schoen Fiduciary
Services after completing course work at Edmonds Community College.
A lifelong Washingtonian, Kathleen lives in Lake Forest Park with her husband & daughter. She enjoys cooking, reading, drumming and boating in the San Juan Islands.

William Fassett
Office Manager
|
Bill has been with Fred Schoen Fiduciary Services since 1993 and
oversees the general office administration and administering of trusts.
His legal acumen, organizational expertise and approach to
problem-solving have served Fred Schoen Fiduciary Services' clients
well. A veteran of trust administration, Bill also offers expertise in
guardianships, bill paying and accounting.
A Maryland native, Bill worked as an Legal Administrator and paralegal
in Baltimore before moving to the Pacific Northwest and taking a job
with the Municipal League of King County. He attended Washington
College in Chestertown, Maryland and currently lives Port Orchard, where
he enjoys reading, hiking and the Great Outdoors.

Colin Slote
Trust Officer

Colin has been with Fred Schoen Fiduciary Services since 1997 and is a senior trust
officer with the firm.
Colin's main focus is trust administration but also offers expertise in guardianships
and probate/settling estates. Colin sets high standards while meeting the complex
needs of his clients.
A graduate of Washington State University, Colin worked as an investment advisor in
Seattle before joining FSFS. He and his wife,
Dana, along with their two cats enjoying following "The Cougs", outdoor recreation, and
entertaining at their home in Seattle.
